Completely unrelated to the current horrors making headlines these days, but this is a good reminder of how willing the US government is to knowingly tolerate the targeting of civilians as long as it aligns with their (often rather questionable to begin with) ideological goals. Government support of death-squads and institutionalized murder of innocents? Don't worry about it! They were probably standing next to drug-traffickers anyway.
